I guess this is what I get for not posting enough.

Four Jobs I’ve Had:
And some people thing being a SysAdmin is just one job

  1. Plumber – I’m always cleaning up other peoples “messes”
  2. Planned Parenthood Counselor – Well Erik I guess I really screwed this one up. Plus there are certainly plenty of talks about viruses and Trojans. Please practice safe computing
  3. Interrogator – What the *&! did you do this time
  4. Plastic Surgeon – I’d be happy to restore it back to a pretty/happy point

Four Movies I Watch Over and Over Again:
I’ve got two kids and another on the way, you must be kidding

  1. Blue’s Clues – I prefer Joe over Steve
  2. Clifford – Me and my son agree that the original Clifford was better. We both miss John Ritter.
  3. Veggie Tales – I’m feeling some Pirates that Don’t Do Anything
  4. Madagascar – A new addition to the family, but certainly seen too many times. I had no idea what a Foosa was before this so I guess it was educational.

Four T.V. Shows I Watch:
Once again kids, for some reason they don’t like anything that might be adult’ish.

  1. Cyberchase – I like this one, and it comes on after I get home so it’s certainly bonus.
  2. Maya and Miguel – I guess learning a little Spanish is useful living in Texas
  3. Clifford – Hmmm, made the list again
  4. Sesame Street – Who doesn’t watch this

Four Places I’ve Been on Vacation:
Would anyone find my vacation history exciting? How about where I want to go on vacation:

  1. Fiji – Our gift to ourselves when our kids are out of the house
  2. Poconos – A nice, quiet, romantic getaway
  3. Cruise – I’ll go anywhere.
  4. Bottom line I’ll take anything and go anywhere with my wife!

Four Websites I Visit Daily:
Get some quality surfing in while the kids are outside terrorizing the dog. And yes I am this geeky!

  1. Slashdot – Stuff that matters!
  2. Digg – Must Maintain the 1337 Skillz
  3. CTRL+ALT+DEL – Tragically 1337 Indeed!
  4. Wikipedia – Not too good with pop-culture anymore so I need somewhere to go to see what stuff means.

Four Favorite Foods:
Yes, I really am this simple

  1. Dr. Pepper – One drink to rule them, and in the darkness bind them. Also, is the source of the caffeine which powers the 1337 skillz!
  2. PB&J – Must be crunchy JIF and Smuckers Red Rasberry (with the seeds – the seedless is just some nasty freak creation). Though this is only acceptable for lunch
  3. Burger – The second source of protein. Prefer fast food ones
  4. Hot Dog/Corn Dog/Chili Dog – Sure prostate cancer, but what a way to go!

Four Places I’d Like to Be Right Now:

  1. In Bed Sleeping
  2. In Bed Sleeping

  5. Where are you? How are you?

I got one of those lies emailed to me again today. It was a new one from a friend. You know, it was one of those unreliable things where someone tells their story of having MS and then getting better when trying glyconutrients. Just made me think of you 🙂

  6. Hi Erik –

LOVE your blog! I’m adding you to my own blogroll – happy to finally have a man among my Daring Adults/Parents! You’re a great writer.

I’m a disabled woman with spina bifida raising my healthy and active toddler daughter. That’s what I blog about. I can’t wait to read your blog some more and hear all your stories.

    Take care.

    Amy 🙂

  7. Y’all are so sweet to check in on Erik. I apologize that he hasn’t updated in a while. He is finishing up some college work, working full time, and taking care of us. Let’s just say his hands are full. 🙂

Thanks for all the sweet posts though!

    Brandy aka Erik’s Girl

  8. Brandy… You are not just Erik’s Girl you know. We all know that you are really sweet too! Hope you all are faring okay in the horrible weather that has come your way. Stay warm and cozy!

  9. Mouse,

Thank you so much!! 🙂 Your the sweet one!

We did okay with the weather. You know we are not so great with cold down here! But it has been getting up to the mid 80’s on occassion and the kiddos played in the sprinkler… much better!

Erik is still doing great. He is having a slight exacerbation, but considering what all is going on at work and with school, I am just so impressed. Then of course we have that tiny detail of getting ready for our daughter to arrive! 🙂

Thanks so much for all of you who check in!

  10. Hi Brandy and erik.
