Beats the heck out of cold feet! 😉 For whatever reason this remains one of the most common recurring exacerbations for me. Fortunately, other than being a pretty massive annoyance it doesn’t cause any other problems. This time it is worse than it has ever been before, but remains primarily focused at the balls of the feet and the toes. Too bad it doesn’t also numb a little deeper for my flat feet pain – but couldn’t have MS doing something useful! 😉 This has now been going strong for 3 days so I’ve probably got a little while left.

  1. Numb – like wearing a couple pairs of socks?

  2. Dunno, I kinda like cold feet over numb…. the wife has other thoughts though. My biggest issue over numb feet is that I have problems telling when Im on the gas and break pedals while driving. Not good.

  3. mdmhvonpa,
Wrong kind of “cold feet” – I was aluding to the kind that brides/grooms tend to get on wedding day. Though, I could certainly understand cold feet from Eriksgirl on wedding day – that’s why I had to walk her down the aisle!!! 🙂

  4. Erik,

I was diagnosed 1 year ago and have not had a relapse. My initial symptom was speech related.

Anyway, I have had numbness in my feet like they are falling asleep three times in the past week. It occurred to me that this could be a symptom when I searched for “multiple sclerosis what do numb feet feel like.” and I came across a post of yours. The feeling stops after about 15 minutes, but does it ever feel like your feet are falling asleep?
