I woke up in the middle of the night last night to take care of a child who was sleeping like a baby. Which then prompted the second set of chills for the night, the first being from the Rebif, because I was running a 102.6ยบ fever (39.22ยบ Celsius). A quick trip to the Dr. and I get the diagnosis of the flu. A real bummer since I got the flu shot. ๐Ÿ™ They about had to do CPR when I picked up the Tamiflu and got the bill for that. I certainly don’t feel that sick! It’s going from bad to worse as my wife has now gotten sick, and the kids are probably close on her heels. It gets ugly when my wife and I are both sick, but this is delving quickly into a much worse place! ๐Ÿ™

  1. I hope you & your wife are feeling better soon.

  2. Sorry you are sick, get well soon. Dam flu shots !

  3. Thanks, I really thought I was going to be protected this year. What’s one more shot – at least the others seem to be accomplishing something! ๐Ÿ˜‰ The real question is where the heck did I get this, especially since I haven’t been leaving the house. Must have been some coworker, now I just need to figure out which one and make them pay! ๐Ÿ˜‰

  4. So far it has been OK with my wife and me both being sick. It has a tendency to not work out so well because I am such a baby. Fortunately, she is a pretty tough TX girl who knows how to “rope in her man” when need be. I think she’ll probably need some assistance with roping in the sick kids when they get to that point. Hopefully my daughter’s flu shot holds her a little better – she got a different one then me.

  5. Hmmm, mom and dad sick … time for a coup! Viva la revolution! The fun starts when one kids brings home a cold and the other the flu. We have just finally started on the down slope from that one.
