I decided to go ahead and fill out the forms on the NARCOMS (North American Research Committee on Multiple Sclerosis) registry today. I was going to do it last night but it was late and I needed to go to bed and after logging in and seeing there were 36 pages gave me brain overload. As it turned out the pages were fairly small and probably only took about 30 minutes to fill out. I would encourage other MS’ers if they haven’t done so already to go and register with NARCOMS. While they list a number of benefits on the page it was the first two that I was mostly interested in as we look for a cure:

  • You are helping to provide the information needed to learn about the variations of MS in a very large group of patients and to monitor the progression of the disease

  • You help us monitor the effects of various treatments Your information may be providing ideas for future research

  • You will be receiving the printed version of the MSQR free of charge

  • You will be informed of recent studies and their results

  • You will be notified of clinical trials in which you may be eligible to participate
